Travel Training Overview
Do you work with individuals who struggle with community mobility?
Have you wanted to help remove transportation as a barrier to your programs and services?
If you answered "yes" to either of the above questions, we hope you will join colleagues from across Allegany, Cattaraugus, and Steuben Counties working in advocacy, aging services, transportation, business, education and government to participate in this FREE interactive workshop. Participants will receive training materials, continental breakfast and lunch.
Workshop highlights include:
• What is Travel Training
• Why is Travel Training Important in our Community
• Natural & Built Environment
• Trip Planning and Travel Safety
• Boarding, Riding, & General Vehicle Use
Participants will be traveling on a bus and walking in various parts of the community so please dress appropriately.
