It's not always easy to know where to turn when you need help. The FRC staff are happy to assist families with information on local services and help connect families with available resources. From food to financial assistance, housing to transportation, and everything in between... we are here to help! Access our free Wi-Fi or computer station for online searches, complete applications to programs or for employment, or to access the NY Connects Information and Referral Directory. Family Play Center
Play Centers provide fun, educational activities for children and parents. Playing together, parents increase the bond they share with their child, role model behaviors, and act as their child's first teacher. Play Centers will focus on gross motor skills, fine motor skills, sensory play, early literacy programming, imagination play for social and emotional learning, and much more. Family support services
A family support specialist provides an assessment and ongoing support and referrals to resources and services for families with multiple needs. Services are provided at the FRC. A plan is designed with the family regarding goals, barriers, strengths, and needs. Every effort is made to ensure positive participation in services to help the family and create safe and healthy home environments for children. CHILD DEvelopment programs and services
The FRC offers a one-stop location for parents to access early childhood development services. Participate in our free ASQ-2 and ASQ-3 developmental screenings to monitor your child's development and learn how you can support your child in reaching their developmental milestones. |
