Our History

Previously known as the Allegany/Western Steuben Rural Health Network, Inc., Ardent Solutions embraces the richness of our past with an invigorating vision for our future.

Our Past

Our Past: On April 19, 1993, key stakeholders from across Allegany County joined together in response to a New York State Department of Health funding announcement entitled Rural Health Network Development Program through the Charles D. Cook Office of Rural Health.

On June 27, 2005, received our NYS Incorporation Status under the laws of the State of New York, as filed in the Office of the Secretary of State pursuant to the Not-for-Profit Law of the State of New York; Network By-laws were adopted by the Board of Directors on October 13, 2005; and 501c3 status was approved by the Internal Revenue Service Department of the Treasury.

The heart of the organization is its mission. The founding members embraced the concept of working together for a greater good. All values are linked to defining moments throughout Ardent Solutions’ life and will continue to characterize the organization into the future.

Today

Today, Ardent Solutions continues to thrive collaborating with its partners and through the high quality of staff dedicated to our mission and a passion to tackle the most difficult issues facing our communities. Experiencing major growth and maturity over the past two decades, we are proud that our originating core values remain true today.

Our Future

Our Future is vibrant and we welcome new partners to join us so we may reach our goal of improving the socio-economic, health and vitality of our community residents. Together we can build a healthy, livable community for all!
