CPS certification expires after two years. Technicians are required to successfully complete the recertification process before current certification expires. To do so, one must meet the following requirements and record the activities in their online Safe Kids Worldwide profile:
You must complete all recertification requirements, including paying the recertification fee, on or before the expiration date of your current certification. Not sure when your CPS certification expires? Check your online profile for exact dates.
- Conduct all five different types of seat checks
