What is Dolly Parton's Imagination Library?
Since launching in 1995, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library has become the premier early childhood book gifting program in the world by mailing well over 90 million free books in Australia, Canada, United Kingdom and the United States. Currently, the program mails over one million specially selected, age-appropriate books monthly to registered children from birth to age five. Dolly’s vision was to create a lifelong love of reading, prepare children for school and inspire them to dream. Recent studies suggest participation in the Imagination Library program is positively and significantly associated with higher measures of early language and math development. How can I sign my child up for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library?
Allegany County children from birth through their 5th birthday are eligible to receive free monthly books in the mail from Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. Registering can be completed:

- Online at Check Availability - Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. Add your mailing address to the form to be directed to Allegany County's page. Then add your child's information to the registration page. Submit the form, and wait for your child's smile when he/she receives his/her first book.
- If you have more than one child under age 5, complete the process for each child.
- Don't have a computer? No problem. Call Robin Fuller at 585-648-6022 and enroll over the phone.
