9th Annual Conference for Successful Aging
The Pursuit of Elder Well-Being
The Allegany County Community Partnership on Aging is accepting proposals for presentations and speaker nominations for the 2016 Annual Conference entitled “The Pursuit of Elder Well-Being: The Evolution of Aging.” Please consider submitting an application to share your expertise or best-practice model with our 150 anticipated guests on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at Alfred State, Alfred, New York.
The Community Partnership on Aging Annual Conference is a unique venue that attracts professionals from all across New York State representing areas of academia, politics, aging services, behavioral health services, the private and non-profit sector, and the health care industry.
The Conference has established itself as an important forum for professionals and leaders to gather and discuss key issues impacting the delivery of rural elder services and caregiver resources and support.
Presentation Submission Guidelines:
The conference strives to provide meaningful information on current trends that either directly or indirectly influences the ability to provide quality and affordable care to rural elders. Presentations by individuals or teams will be considered in each of the workshop tracks targeting (1) Professionals and (2) Informal Caregivers.
Presentations should be engaging and provide for Q&A. Content should be innovative, informative and promote discussion and networking. Presentations should reflect the conference overall themes of Mind, Body, and Soul. Presentations will be one hour in length.
